Rita Ora and Taika Waititi Win Emmy Awards

During the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi took home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series for their work on "What We Do in the Shadows.
The show, which follows a group of vampires living together on Staten Island, has been praised for its humor and originality.

"I'm so grateful for this award," she said. "I love this show so much, and I'm so proud of the work that we've done."

"This show wouldn't be possible without the incredible team of writers and producers who work on it," he said. "And of course, I want to thank the fans for watching and supporting us."
The Show's Success
"What We Do in the Shadows" has been a critical and commercial success since it premiered in 2019.
The show has won numerous awards, including the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
The show's third season is set to premiere on September 2, 2022.
