What You Never Knew About Steve Hill and the Brownsville Revival

The Brownsville Revival was a series of meetings at the Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida, from 1995 to 2000.
It drew over 4 million people from more than 150 nations and was led by evangelist Steve Hill.
The revival began on Father's Day, June 18, 1995, when Hill was invited to speak at the church by its pastor, John Kilpatrick.
Later, Hill and Kilpatrick described a powerful wind that filled the church during the service, and many attendees reported experiencing physical healings and other miracles.
Hill continued to lead the revival for the next five years, and it became one of the most significant religious events of the late 20th century.
Hill died of cancer on Sunday at his home in Alabama.
